Faculty Profile

Dr. Qureshi received his PhD in Anthropology from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, United Kingdom in 2013. Prior to joining LUMS he taught anthropology at SOAS, the University of Sussex, and the University of Oxford. His research interests include sexual and reproductive health, NGOs, bureaucracy, neoliberalization and labour relations, and Pakistani labour migration to the Persian Gulf. He has recently published articles in the Journal of Royal Anthropological Institute, Development and Change, Anthropology & Medicine, and Global Public Health.
