Faculty Profile

Zahra Khan completed her BSc (Hons) in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences on the Dean’s Honour List. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a Teaching Assistant for three semesters, and as a Research Assistant for four months. After her Bachelors, she worked as an Insights Specialist for a leading multinational company: Coca-Cola Beverages, for nearly two years.

Zahra was nominated alongside six other candidates from across the world, for the prestigious LSE - Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme. She completed her MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science on a high merit in 2016.

Her research interests encompass a range of development issues including poverty, migration, population and gender-based microfinance.

Zahra has a keen interest in art history and loves to travel in her leisure time.
